How counselling interest data is handled
This notice explains how Global Career Track handles information submitted by students, parents and guardians through enquiry, counselling and scholarship-interest forms. It should be reviewed by local legal counsel before large-scale international launch.
1. Information collected
The counselling form may collect student name, parent/guardian name, email, WhatsApp number, preferred course/pathway, preferred GCC city or online cohort, scholarship interest, start window and consent to contact.
2. Purpose of collection
Information is used to respond to enquiries, schedule counselling, validate city-wise demand, assess program fit, process scholarship-interest review and provide updates about Global Career Track learning-support programs.
3. Independent support clarification
Submitting a Global Career Track form is not an application to IIT Madras, Coursera, edX, University of London or any other university, platform, certification provider or institution. Official admissions, enrollment, exams, certificate issue, platform access and academic credentials remain controlled by the relevant provider or institution.
4. Sharing of information
Information may be shared with authorized counsellors, academic mentors, CRM/email providers, communication tools, scholarship-review personnel, city-operating teams and legal/regulatory advisers where needed to process the enquiry and provide support. Student information should not be sold or shared with unauthorized third parties.
5. Data security
For production use, connect the website form to a secure CRM or backend with access control, audit logs and appropriate retention controls. Avoid relying only on browser local storage for student or parent enquiries.
6. Cross-border applicants
Because applicants may come from the GCC, India and other countries, Global Career Track should follow applicable local data protection, marketing consent and student/minor communication rules before launching campaigns in each country.
7. Contact
For privacy or data correction requests, contact: admissions@globalcareertrack.com.
